"What's left of Edith Finch" and "Overcooked!" – BGR

We are so accustomed to Sony flooding us with exclusive exclusivity for the PlayStation 4 that this year looks incredibly empty in comparison. Right, Past days came out last week but there is not much to look forward to in the near future. This should come as no surprise, as the company has already begun announcing its next generation console, despite being at least a year old.

With all that in mind, PlayStation Plus giveaways will be even more important in the coming months, and while May's selection is decent, it will not bother anyone, either. Both titles are older than two years, but if they are not already in your library, add them before the month ends.

Here is the complete list of free PlayStation 4 games available to PlayStation Plus subscribers in May:

  • What's left of Edith FinchWhat remains of Edith Finch is a collection of strange tales about a family in Washington state. Like Edith, you're going to explore the colossal Finch House, looking for stories as she explores your family history and tries to find out why she's the last in her family to be alive. Each story you encounter allows you to experience the life of a new family member on the day of his death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.
  • Overcooked!: Overcooked is a chaotic sofa kitchen game for one to four players. Working as a team, you and your fellow chefs should prepare, cook and serve a variety of tasty requests before baying customers leave. Sharpen your chef's whites and white dust, there are no mushrooms for bugs and steaks are high in these crazy kitchens!

Both games listed above will be free to download starting on Tuesday, May 7th. As always, you will need to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription to download for free. You'll also need to keep paying or restarting your subscription to keep them, even if you've downloaded them for free. And do not forget: all free April games are still available until the new collection of instant games arrives next week.
