Tom Holland reveals that the death scene of the Iron Man was totally unregistered

Avengers: End of the Game was released in April 2019 and quickly became one of the greatest films of all time. With all the biggest stars in the Marvel Universe joining forces to create a story that was both dramatic, funny, action-packed and thrilling, it's no wonder that it has hit the top of the box office and made millions of dollars.

Even more inspiring than the onscreen action are the thrilling behind-the-scenes tales that the cast has slowly revealed in the past two months. Tom Holland, Peter Parker, MCU, had a particularly good story that he revealed recently during the press tour Spider-Man: Away From Home.

"Avengers: Endgame" was a very secret project

Avengers: End of the Game is a large portion of the history of Marvel's Phase 3, tying the tale of Thanos and the Infinity Stones. It is also the last film to present the most powerful heroes on Earth, all together again for one last great adventure. With big movie stars like Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Holland and Scarlett Johansson on board, the project was bound to be huge from the outset.

The exact plot was kept confidential, and while fans speculated on what the movie might be, there were a lot of surprises waiting when the movie was finally opened on April 26.

The biggest shock was definitely the death of Iron Man. Tony Stark, the billionaire genius who was a fan favorite for many, gave his own life to ensure that Thanos and his fellow villains never reappear. The emotional scene is considered by many to be the heart of the film, and one that, according to Tom Holland, was the scene that required the least amount of prior planning.

The Great Scene of Robert Downey, Jr. in 'Avengers: Endgame' was improvised

In a recent interview, Holland revealed that Marvel executives gave the actors involved in the scene of Tony Stark's death total creative freedom. Holland said the actors were brought to the set and told what would happen on the scene, and then the actors, including the Netherlands, were allowed to improvise. Holland went on to say that "it was a very interesting way to shoot such an important scene, but it was incredible and the scene turned out to be fantastic."

Needless to say, the Netherlands is correct. Since launch Avengers: End of the Game has received incredibly positive reviews with critics and fans praising the film's creative direction and the way the actors dealt with great emotional moments as well as action-packed battles.

What's Next for the Marvel Movie Universe?

With the completion of Phase 3, Marvel Studios is eyeing Phase 4, which has not yet officially been titled. The only movie definitely confirmed so far is the next Spider-Man: Away From Home, which will be released in July, although technically this is still part of Phase 3.

However, a recent leak suggests some of the movies fans may anticipate in the coming years, including Guardians of Galaxy 3, an independent film of the Black Widow, Black Panther 2, Doctor Strange 2and another Thor movie.

Although these titles have not been confirmed by Marvel, it seems very likely that at least some of these films will eventually materialize, especially considering that many of the established characters had plots open in Avengers: End of the Game. No matter what the future holds for the beloved Avengers, it seems likely that fans will continue to look End of the game as a stellar example of superhero stories.

As for Tom Holland, fans can see him reprise his role as Spider-Man when Spider-Man: Away From Home hits theaters on July 2.
