Kyle Kuzma scored 32 points and helped the Los Angeles Lakers in a 138-128 victory over Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.

Without LeBron James and Rajon Rondo for the 12th consecutive game, the Lakers relied on Kuzma and Ivica Zubac at the bench as well as at Lonzo Ball.
Kuzma hit seven of three points. Zubac scored 26 career points while Bola added 18, including five points in overtime, with the Lakers beating Oklahoma City 16-6.
The Thunder have lost five of their last six games.
After building a big early lead thanks to the three-pointer, the Thunder failed behind the arch in overtime, going from 2 to 11 in three. Oklahoma City did not attempt a field goal inside the arc in overtime.
Paul George led the Thunder with 27 points, while Russell Westbrook had 26 points and 13 assists but was only 7-of-30 from the field.
Oklahoma City forced the overtime thanks to Jerami Grant's blocking of Kuzma's layup with less than 10 seconds remaining, forcing the Lakers to a timed violation.
Westbrook missed two critical shots at the last minute but the Thunder put the game back into their hands in the final seconds and it was worth it.

Westbrook was knocked over by Ball, firing a 3-pointer with 2.9 seconds remaining. Upon entering the game, Westbrook was recording a career-worst 64.2% of the free-throw line, but he hit all three of the charity range to tie the game and Kuzma lost a three-pointer on the bell to send the game for extension. .
The teams entered the night as two of the worst three-point shooting teams in the NBA – the Lakers were 28th in the league and the Thunder was in last place.
But the combined teams by 41 three points, with Oklahoma City, 22.
Both teams set season highs for three points. The Thunder brand set a franchise record, breaking the previous record of 20.
