CAITLYN Jenner's house in Malibu would have been destroyed in the fires in California, while other celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, were forced to evacuate as the flames approached.
The rapid fire in Southern California also destroyed a historic site used by the HBO series Westworld and Dr Quinn Medicine Woman and forced numerous celebrities to join the thousands of fires that claimed homes and provoked a total evacuation of the Malibu celebrity enclave.
TMZ reported that Jenner's house was burned but her agent said that this has not yet been confirmed. The Olympic gold medalist evacuated safely.
The death toll in the fires is now five years, but officials fear it could increase.
Kim Kardashian West, Scott Baio, Will Smith, Lady Gaga and Guillermo del Toro are among the numerous celebrities forced to evacuate their homes, in some cases hastily trying to arrange transportation for their horses.
Alyssa Milano said her home was "in danger", but then tweeted that she was safe.
"Horses are finally safe. My children are safe. My house is in danger, but … everything with a heartbeat is safe. Thank you all for your concern, "he said.
The forest fire caused by the wind also destroyed the Dr. Strange director Scott Derrickson. He said he is safe despite losing his home.
KIM S FIRE SCARE
Kim Kardashian received only an hour to evacuate her Calabasas mansion with her three children and later tweeted to her millions of followers that the flames had hit the property she shares with her husband Kanye West.
The 38-year-old was told she had to flee the dangerous area shortly after landing in Los Angeles after a business trip to San Quentin in northern California.
Leading to Instagram to post photos of live flames spreading all over Los Angeles, the real TV mogul asked his followers to "pray for Calabasas."
Kim revealed that she and her children North, Chicago and Saint only "had 1 hour to pack and evacuate our house."
The star then started sharing videos of the first rescuers.
She captioned a video: "The firemen are coming. Thank you for everything you do for us !!!
Destructive fires also triggered a mandatory evacuation order for the entire coastal city of Malibu.
The blaze erupted on Thursday northwest of Los Angeles and snorted south, skirting the US 101 highway on Friday and raiding the Santa Monica mountains.
Malibu has about 13,000 inhabitants and lies along 34 kilometers of coastline at the southern foothills of the mountain range.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department tweets that the fire is going into the ocean, punctuating the message with the statement: "Imminent Threat!"
Kim and Kanye's estate in the Hidden Hills gated community is estimated at $ 20 million.
Kourtney Kardashian was also forced to flee, posting photos of suitcases in her car while seeking refuge at Kendall Jenner's Beverly Hills home.
Both Kim and Kourtney live in Calabasas, near their mother Kris Jenner.
Kris Jenner's neighborhood was also evacuated, but the momager was in New York at the time watching Kendall invade the catwalk of the Victoria's Secret parade.
The new mother Khloe tweeted her whereabouts:
I'm with Rob, Dream and True and I'm on my guard! Saying prayers and thanking all the brave firefighters who risk their lives for us ❤️❤️ https://t.co/eVlJgWSqVd
