Half-time: Kaizer Chiefs 1-0 at SuperSport United
Date: November 4, 2018
Location: Moses Mabhida Stadium
An impressive strike by Ramahlwe Mphahlele saw Kaizer Chiefs making a 1-0 lead at SuperSport United for a half-time break in Telkom Knockout quarterfinals.
Giovanni Solinas made a change on the lost side of Orlando Pirates, and Siphelele Ntshangase turned to George Maluleka.
The party's biggest speech was only eight minutes after the goalkeeper, Itumeleng Khune, had received a yellow card from outside the box, a concept that was agreed by former referee Jerome Damon.
Teboho Mokoena came close to getting the United away from the keeper in a minute and Khune kicked off from the bottom after a free kick by the ball.
Willard Katsande refused to try to get the Chiefs in the 15th minute after a loose ball was found in the center of the ball.
Glamor Boys' payout was paid off eight minutes before the penalty came out after Mphahlele had fallen into the box, but Katsande could not take advantage of it as his knock came from the crossbar.
Seconds later, Mphahlele rescued Katsande's patch as he broke the stalemate for Amakhosi six months in the break with a sensational volleyball from the difficult angle that left Ronwen Williams accidentally.
