Experience the biggest and best Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2 in the first part of our Battle Overview gameplay series.

Space naval combat returns in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2, the highly anticipated sequel to Tindalos Interactive and Focus Home Interactive, refining all facets of the first game to make a bigger and better experience for admirals everywhere and an adaptation still larger than the original board game set in the 40,000 Warhammer universe. Today's Battle Overview Video is the first in a two-part series that will teach you the many options available to you in Battlefleet Gothic: Armada 2. Have everything you need to know before the first beta phase, scheduled for December 5th to 12th.

With more factions and more ships come larger battles, with larger fleets in clash to control the Eye of Terror and the surrounding region of the space dubbed Aegis Ocularis. All twelve factions of the board game are now represented, and each has unique ships, new mechanics and more to show.

They are unique ways of moving through space or alien spaceships and alien ships, each faction feels different from its peers. Even those who share similarities, such as Aeldari Corsairs and Asuryani Craftworlds, or Tau Protectorate Fleet and Merchant Fleet, have differences in what they can do. This makes your faction selection and choice of ships, armaments, admiral skills and fleet upgrades fully customizable and massively shocking.

In the trailer, you'll see how it all fits together with map layout, capture points, enemy fleet and various stages of battle to create a challenging and spectacular simulation of space combat. Prioritize weapons or target engines, kill boarding crews to turn enemy ships into floating hulks, or destroy enemy ships and commit to short-range battles.
