Zulia police would have been killed for debt of dollars

Polisur employee José Alberto Gómez Acuña, 32, was murdered in the Las Veritas sector in the state of Zulia in order not to pay him a debt in dollars.

According Panorama, a person close to Gomez's family said the officer had sold a van to a merchant who owed him money.

"This is one of the versions of this case, however, we still can not guarantee that this was the cause of death, we are doing the telephone screening and investigating the officer's environment to get to the truth," a source added.

Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Forensic Investigations Corps (Cicpc) explained that Gómez Vicuña, bought and sold spare parts and vehicles and was also a lender.
