The State of Guerrero of the Civil Protection in Mexico warned on Monday about the dangers that affect people who swim at night at sea.
Speaking of the Easter holiday, the organization focused on citizen protection said that at night the tide rises and makes the sea current "stronger and more aggressive, being able to drag with it what it finds in its way", says the Civil Protection Notice on twitter.
On the shores of Nicaragua, during Holy Week, at least 12 deaths from drowning in the coasts were recorded in 2018.
In Venezuela, which has a large back area, accidents occur during national holidays and festivities. .
