Jorge Arreaza said on Monday he had talks with the US business manager to work on setting up an office to safeguard interests and exchanges with the country.
Arreaza showed several photographs to show that the talks were held.
He assured that all Venezuelan diplomats in the United States returned to Venezuela. He assured that the pro-government leadership is willing to establish a dialogue with the opposition.
"Nicolás Maduro is willing to talk to the Venezuelan opposition," he said.
