Olnar Ortiz, coordinator of the Amazonas Criminal Forum, reported a confrontation between alleged members of the National Liberation Army (ELN) and National Guard (GNB) officers in the Picatonal indigenous community in Puerto Ayacucho, state of Amazonas.
According to reports, at least two GNB officials would have died at the event, which occurred after the arrest of one of the alleged guerrillas.
Ortiz added that 13 soldiers would be injured and treated at a health center in rural areas.
