The little one was delivered to his grandmother.
Upata.- The kidnapping of a four-month-old baby was reported Monday morning in the San Antonio sector.
Two unknown women arrived at the home of Yosiris and Joel Hernandez, who invaded the estate to take the child away.
When they realized what had happened, the parents went to the authorities to find the whereabouts of the child.
Then, mixed commissions began the search for the newborn. Participants included officials from the National Anti-Drug and Abduction Command (Conas), Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), Bolivar State Police (PBL), Piar Municipal Police and CICPC.
After several hours of the kidnapping, intelligence and tracing staff recovered the child safely at noon on Rómulo Gallegos Avenue in the Santo Domingo neighborhood. There they captured the abductors with the baby.
The four-month-old boy was delivered by the mayor of the municipality of Piar, Yulisbeth García, to his grandmother.
Although he was in perfect health, according to the security agency, the child would undergo a medical checkup.
Family member involved in abduction
According to information provided by the authorities, one of the authors of the material was a prize of the child.
Officials presume that those involved have had time to study family movements.
The intention was to know the time of entry and exit, as well as the main access to the residence so that, at the very least, the carelessness would commit the crime.
It was stealthily that the pair of women managed to rob the child of the property "without being seen". Authorities assume the baby was "bargained."
On the other hand, it is speculated that the parents of the child "possibly have purchasing power," but this version was not confirmed by the authorities.
After the child's recovery, it was learned that two women were captured, including the cousin, who is 17 years old.
However, it is not known whether there were others involved in the abduction of the four-month-old child.
Conas officials will be tasked to investigate the case to find other responsible parties.
They assert that it is a sensitive and "confidential" investigation, yet they undertake to find the rest of the parties responsible.
On the other hand, the parents of the child were led to make the corresponding statements. Those involved are being held in the dungeons of Coviaguard's headquarters.
For its part, the Public Prosecutor's Office was notified of the incident.
It is expected that the next hours will be presented to the Promoter with jurisdiction in the case.
Trace the others involved
Officials of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) continue to carry out investigations.
