Carlos Ghosn, a former president of Nissan Motor, was arrested again on Wednesday for another charge against him by the Tokyo prosecutor's office, local media reported. NHK
The financial newspaper Nikkei says that Ghosn volunteered and was arrested.
The new charge is linked to a series of funds transferred by Nissan and Renault's presidency to Oman, which were used to buy a yacht and personal loans from Ghosn.
This would imply that the Prosecutor's Office would file a new suit against him for aggravated abuse of trust, which would join three other formal charges.
Ghosn was arrested for the first time on November 19, 2018 and released on bail on March 6.
