Deputy Carlos Lozano denounced that more than 167,000 CANTV lines are out of service in Carabobo, leaving thousands of families incommunicado for months and some even years.
This was determined after verifying the thousands of complaints that arrive daily through their social networks, where neighbors from various sectors of the entity, claim that the cables that provide the telephone service of CANTV have been stolen.
This cable robbery has left the telephone company in ruins, so it's virtually impossible that they can fix all those shortcomings in a short period of time, "Lozano said.
In that sense, he indicated that the residents of the parish of San Jose made the claim repeatedly, but the problem persists, so they went to private technicians, who claim to charge in dollars.
"Only this last week, more than 8,000 numbers are out of service in San Jose. On the other hand, the allegation that they are the same CANTV workers that caused this cable theft, because the cuts are done impeccably, and are they that offer a solution to the problem but claim they charge in foreign currency to run the service, which adds that they are underpaid workers, tired of a system what they have done is impoverish this company and those who work inside her, "he said.
The parliamentarian calls on CANTV to address thousands of failures across the state that affect public telephone communication and the internet service that has also been affected by this reality.
