Meghan Markle likes President Trump?

Long before marrying the royal family, Meghan Markle was a successful actress with a philanthropic mindset. She often talked about certain politicians she liked and points of view she agreed to.

She was especially vocal during the 2016 presidential election when Donald Trump ran against Hillary Clinton. It was an extraordinarily unique election and Markle shook some feathers when she appeared in The Night Show With Larry Wilmore in 2016.

Markle said she stood with Hillary Clinton and believed that Donald Trump was misogynist and divisive. She also claimed she would move to Canada if he won the election. While Trump finally won the election, Markle moved to England instead of Canada – and married Britain's most coveted bachelor, Prince Harry.

When Donald Trump was recently informed of his comments in 2016, he, of course, had an answer. "I did not know she was unpleasant," he said, apparently referring to the nickname "shameless woman" he attributed to Hillary Clinton and, by default, his supporters. He followed this with "I hope she's fine, I think she'll do well."

Meghan Markle met with President Trump during his visit?

After his comments on Meghan Markle, many fans of royalty were outraged. Everyone wondered what the visit would look like, considering Markle and Trump's history of disagreements. Still, the timing could have been perfect to avoid further scandal – Markle, who had just given birth to her son, Archie Harrison, on May 6, was still on maternity leave and therefore exempt from any of the planned events during the term of President Trump. Visit.

Her husband, Prince Harry, was required to attend various events during the visit, including a private lunch and a special state banquet. Kate Middleton and Prince William were also present when the red carpet was released for Trump.

Although it is not known to what extent Prince Harry and Donald Trump communicated during any of the festivities, the public certainly liked to speculate whether or not Meghan Markle was a conversation topic at lunch. Some reports claim that Prince Harry snubbed Trump by refusing to be photographed with him, and made sure to stay as far away from him as possible – but that certainly can not be proven.

The royal family defended Meghan Markle?

Meghan Markle's fans were straightforward about how inappropriate President Trump's comments were – even so, if the royal family had any reservations about the interview, they would not let them out in public. Queen Elizabeth has a long standing policy of always being polite and gracious to any visitor, even those who may have a less than perfect story with the royal family.

In the aftermath of President Trump's trip to England, some online critics blamed Meghan Markle for failing to meet with Trump, despite the fact that she is still on maternity leave. However, she will probably have another chance to meet the president. There is another visit on the horizon – though not until 2020. Stay tuned for the latest news from Meghan Markle!
