As you may know … Wade robson and James Safechuck sued MJ for sexual abuse, but her lawsuits were dismissed in 2017 – in part because of the statute of limitations. Both men appealed their decisions and the cases have been arrested in the court of appeal … until now.
We learned that the California Court of Appeal has just issued an interim ruling that would annul the layoffs, based on a new California law that extended the statute of limitations for child sexual abuse cases. This means that Robson and Safechuck may have your cases ears before a jury.
It is not a deal made. As we said, the decision is provisional. Oral arguments are set for this week, and judges may change their minds, but usually the provisional ruling remains.
MJ Estate now has several other objections to complaints, which will be dealt with by the trial judge.
The Wade and James Story aired on HBO in January, and their claims of sexual abuse sparked a movement to dumb michael jackson and further tarnished his legacy. Jackson's family called "Leaving Neverland" unfairpublic lynching. "
