Google Fi Project May Be Coming to iPhone, OnePlus and Samsung Devices

The Google Project Fi service may be receiving a serious upgrade soon. According to a post removed from the BGR, which appears to be a broken embargo on a Google ad, Google is opening Project Fi for more devices.

More specifically, Google could be adding support for Samsung devices, OnePlus as well as LG and Motorola, reports Droid Life. Some devices from LG and Motorola already work with Project Fi, but Google could be adding more of those devices to its arsenal.

And if OnePlus and Samsung were not enough, Google could add support for Apple's iPhone devices – in beta.

The only problem here is that you may not have the full "Google Fi" experience on these devices. And for the complete Fi experience, you'll need to get devices that are "Fi-designed" and are sold officially by Google and its partners.

And notice the brand of Google Fi? Google can finally drop the Project Fi brand and replace it with the Google Fi brand, as we reported earlier this month.
