Beth Chapman of "Dog the Bounty Hunter" and wife of Duane Chapman was hospitalized Tuesday morning with a menacing mass in her throat, according to Fox News.
"Beth is currently in surgery, and Duane (and we) are waiting for the doctors to tell us how it was." She was in a good mood last night, "Chapman family lawyer Andrew Brettler told Fox News. "We're all hoping for the best."
According to TMZ, Beth, 51, had trouble breathing at night and was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California on Tuesday morning, where doctors found the blockage in her throat .

Last year, Beth was diagnosed with stage 2 throat cancer and wrote in a letter to friends that she was shocked to learn of her diagnosis.
"I received my share of unexpected blows over my nearly fifty years, but nothing as serious as what I heard from my doctors two weeks ago when they uttered those dreaded three words:" You have cancer. " I wrote.
She continued: "After months of an irritating cough, a routine examination resulted in a diagnosis of stage II throat cancer. I have what is called a T2-weighted tumor in my throat that is blocking my breathing. and surgery before the disease progresses. "
