US charges Huawei of China with fraud

The US Department of Justice has filed 13 lawsuits against China's telecommunications giant Huawei and its chief financial officer Meng Whazou.

Among the charges are charges of bank and electronic fraud, obstruction of justice and theft of technology from the US company T Mobile.

Meng was arrested in Canada last month at the request of the United States.

The case has tightened relations between China, Canada and the US.
