Fortnite leakers discover massive Anchor under Dusty Divot

Dusty Divot has turned into an equipment-filled dig site, and thanks to Fortnite's leaks, we now have an idea of what's underneath.

Dusty's location at Fortnite has undergone several changes since the original Dusty Depot project in the first season.

The Dusty Depot started out as a simple place, with different metal warehouses that had some chest spawns, which was a great landing spot.

Dusty has gone through several events, including the infamous fourth-season crater crash.

During week 5 of Season 8, tow trucks began to arrive in Dusty Divot pointing to another refurbishment.

Later, during week 5, the trucks began construction by digging the crater in the middle.

Players can interact with the stones causing damage, decreasing their overall health, which began at 1,000,000,000 hp.

This situation is similar to Iceberg on the island south of Happy Hamlet during season seven.

Players can deal damage with their picks for 50 points of damage, but all players around the world can knock down the stones.

Thanks to @FNBRHQ, they were able to provide pictures of what the Dusty Divot will look like when the build is complete.

Once players can clear all the rocks in Dusty Divot, a surprise will be placed at the bottom of the big hole.

The construction project will soon reveal a large anchor, with several spawning in the chest around the area.

Some players believe that the anchor will reveal more information based on the Season 8 plot, which is centered around Pirates.

Season 8 has been slow in terms of story development, but we hope this new discovery points to some progression.

Do you think Epic Games will have another in-game event to celebrate the end of Season 8?
