The next season of Destiny 2 begins on March 5 and new activities will be completed as part of the Annual Pass offer of the game. The Wild DLC of Season 6, Season 6 of the Drifter, is adding a new version of the Gambit competitive mode called Gambit Prime, which increases bets in the first mode introduced with the Forsaken expansion.

Bungie has posted some of the details in a new blog post and videos that show what gamers can expect in Season 6. The next season's story focuses on The Drifter, the mysterious character who commands Gambit, and the strange artifact giant. he's been towing behind his ship since he appeared in Destiny 2. According to vidoc, you can think of Gambit so far as training for a robbery. Gambit Prime is the assault, according to Bungie, and this fuels another high-level activity called The Reckoning.

Reckoning will be a tiered event that knocks out special items with the idea that you will collect armor and weapons at The Reckoning, bringing them back to Gambit Prime to win better things there, and then using those things to get back to The Reckoning . Reckoning. The first level of The Reckoning will be available early in the season on March 5 along with the first new map of Gambit Prime, a Mars site called New Arcadia. According to Bungie's Destiny 2 script, The Reckoning's second level will be released on March 8th, and the third and final level will be available to players on March 15th.

Although vidoc has not been very specific about how Gambit Prime will be different from normal Gambit, or what exactly The Reckoning will be, an interesting element of The Reckoning is that it is connected to The Nine. This is the strange and obscure group that has only been hinted at in Destiny's tradition so far, mainly through visits from the weekly Exotic Weapons salesman and the Nine Emissary, Xur. Earlier information about Season 6 mentioned that Xur will soon offer rewards for players to complete. These are now called Invitations of the Nine and will appear on March 15 with the third level of The Reckoning. These are weekly rewards that offer powerful rewards, but you can only complete one in each character per week for nine weeks. There are not many details about what they will entail, though.

As for the new maps of Gambit Prime, after New Arcadia, a Titan site called Deep Six will be added on March 12th. There will also be three new Gambit weapons to gain in activity, as well as new armor through Gambit Prime and The Reckoning. .

As the videocassette notes, Bungie took note of the first DLC release of her new annual pass, The Black Armory. As the season began, it came with a surge of power that required players to use their old activities to become strong enough to play newly released content, something that no one touched Destiny 2 was very happy about. This will not happen in the Wild Joker – Bungie says higher level players will be able to jump right into the new Gambit Prime mode. A new set of rewards available on The Drifter, called Power Surge Bounies, will also help anyone below 640 Power to move up to last season's maximum level within one to two hours, Bungie says.

There's one more big Wild Joker event that Destiny 2 fans will probably be waiting for: the quest to get Thorn, one of Destiny's most beloved (and most hated) cannons. This starts March 12, but It seems like it will be long and include time gates like the previous exotic weapons missions. It looks like this quest will also require you to choose sides between the Drifter and the group that controls the Guardian, called Vanguard. Once you make that choice for a specific character, you're stuck on it, apparently.

Although content related to Google Play in the Drifter Season is blocked behind the Annual Pass, there is some new content for those who did not participate in the DLC. Season 6 will see new high-level Pinnacle weapons to win in the Crucible and avant-garde attacks. There are also two new events: a spring event called The Revelry, which seems to be similar to Valentine's Day theme with Valentine's Day theme, holiday theme The Dawning and Festival of Lost events with Halloween theme. Another weeklong event, called Arc Week, will also be free for all players. These events will start in April and run through May.
