Defenders of the former fugitive president of Ukraine, Viktor Yanukovych, have transferred to the State Department of Investigation a statement on the practice of crimes committed by the highest officials of Ukraine.

This was written by one of Vitaly Serdyuk's lawyers on the Facebook page.

According to him, they delivered 9 volumes of "evidence of guilt" to the State Security Department. According to lawyers Yanukovych, senior officials of Ukraine committed crimes under art. 109, 110, 111, 112, 115, 255, 293, 294, 295, 396 of the Penal Code.

"This is about the loss of the Crimea, the violent seizure of power, high treason, the organization of massacres at the Maidan in 2014," explained Serdyuk.

He clarified that the materials were collected by former fugitive president's lawyers while participating in lengthy trials.

As reported by NEWSONE before, January 24 District court of Obolonsky of Kiev condemned Viktor Yanukovich to 13 years in prison. He did not attend any meetings and did not speak with the last word. However, according to his defender Vitaly Serdyuk, Yanukovych could speak at the last meetinghowever, he would not have been convened and was not informed of the date of the meeting.
