Samsung will soon introduce a new Samsung Galaxy A8s frameless smartphone, which will be the first operator of the Infinity-O screen with a dotted cutout under the front camera. The same screen is expected in the top-of-the-range Galaxy S10 model. We already know how the new product will be, but now its features have arrived.

The source confirms the previous data that Samsung, in order to save, entrusted the production of a new screen for the Samsung Galaxy A8s to Chinese company BOE, which provides screens for the best camera phone in the world, the Huawei Mate 20 Pro. As reported, the next new product will have an IPS array of 6.39 inches with Full HD + resolution.

The hardware base of the Samsung Galaxy A8s is the SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 710, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. Also mentioned is the support for microSD memory cards with a capacity of 512 GB.

The main camera will be mounted from three modules with resolution of 5, 10 and 25 megapixels. With high probability, we can say that the optics here are the same as those of the Galaxy A7 (2018). The front camera is equipped with a 24-megapixel image sensor.

In addition, the smartphone received a battery with 3400 mAh capacity, rechargeable via USB-C connector, and Android OS 9.0 Pie out of the box.

Dimensions of the Samsung Galaxy A8s smartphone – 159.11 x74.88×7.38 mm. For comparison, the Galaxy Note9 with the same screen size has dimensions of 161.9 x 76.4 x8.8 mm.

The announcement of the Samsung Galaxy A8 is expected in late December or early January.
