Patriot, a North American manufacturer of RAM, has introduced a series of standard Steel-RAM RAM modules DDR4 SO-DIMM under the subsidiary brand Viper Gaming. New strips are available in versions designed for DDR4-2400 to DDR4-3000 modes and, like foreign vendor notes, are tested for compatibility with current Intel and AMD platforms.
Viper Gaming Steel's DDR4 SO-DIMM memory modules have a capacity of 8 or 16 GB. Customers are offered versions with an effective frequency of 2400 MHz and regular delays of 15-15-15-35, 2666 MHz and 18-18-1843 intervals as well as 3000 MHz and 18-20-20-43.
In the first two cases, the nominal voltage is 1.2 V, and for DDR4-3000 boards it is 1.25 V. Among other things, Intel XMP 2.0 profile overclocking support and manufacturer's lifetime warranty can be observed.
Recommended prices for 8- and 16-gigabyte Viper Gaming Steel SO-DIMM memory modules start at $ 52 and $ 99 (for DDR4-2400 options).
