On October 23, Meizu made a presentation of its new products in China, focusing on the new Meizu 16T flagship smartphone – the cheapest of all models with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC.

$ 280 – The basic version of the Meizu 16T with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory costs a lot. The remaining versions are not much more expensive: 8/128 GB – $ 320, 8/256 GB (here LPDDR4x and UFS 3.0) – $ 350. more expensive, not to mention the most famous brands.

At the same time, with the remaining features, this model is also in complete order, even more so. In terms of front panel design, the new Meizu 16T completely and completely copies the latest models from the company – all in the same recognizable style, with very thin frames, no tricks like cutouts, holes and retractable cameras.

It uses a 6.5 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080×2232 pixels and an 18.6: 9 aspect ratio. The screen occupies 85.2% of the front panel area, characterized by a maximum brightness of 600 cd / m2 and has a TÜV Rheinland certificate certifying that a small amount of harmful blue light is emitted.

The Super mTouch fingerprint scanner is integrated into the screen, the claimed unlocking speed is 0.2 s.

The main camera is triple. The main module is represented by a 1 / 2.55 ″ format Sony IMX362 12 megapixel sensor (1.4 μm pixel size) and a 24-mm EGF, F / 1.9 aperture and autofocus six-lens with phase detection. The addition consists of a Samsung 4H7 sensor with an 8 megapixel resolution and an ultra wide angle lens with a 118 ° angle of view and an F / 2.2 aperture. Finally, the third auxiliary module with a 5 megapixel resolution (Samsung 5E9) is used to analyze the depth of the scene. Yes, there is no ultra-high resolution sensor or optical stabilization system. However, the camera supports 4K video recording at a frequency of 60 fps and allows you to record slow motion videos at a frequency of 240 fps.

The front camera, located along with the other sensors in a small upper frame, is equipped with an image sensor with a 16 megapixel resolution and a lens with an F / 2.2 aperture. It supports face recognition with a response speed of 0.2 s.

Battery capacity is 4500 mAh and fast charging with a power of 18 W is supported (the corresponding power mCharger charger is included in the package).

The smartphone case is made of aluminum alloy, the front and rear panels are decorated with curved glass. Dimensions and mass Meizu 16T – 159.63×78.2×8.3 mm and 183 grams. With such a spacious battery, the overall dimensions of this model are impressive.

In the model configuration also stereo speakers, an LTE modem, 802.11ac (2.4 and 5 GHz) adapters, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB-C and 3.5 mm to connect headphones. Unfortunately, there is no NFC module.

The smartphone debuted with the Flyme 7 shell based on Android 9.0 Pie and the OneMind 3.5 artificial intelligence engine, but Flyme 8 upgrade to this model is guaranteed.

There are three colors to choose from: blue, green and orange with shades.

You can order the Meizu 16T in China starting today and actual sales will start on the morning of October 28th.

Simultaneously with the Meizu 16T smartphone, Meizu HD60 Bluetooth headsets were introduced, which represent an upgrade to the 2015 Meizu HD50 model. The new model received a new, more ergonomic design. The frame is made of stainless steel and the headphones are almost completely covered in leather. The headphones are equipped with 40mm speakers, support high resolution audio, aptX protocol and dual cVc noise reduction technology. The device also includes a USB-C connector for charging and 3.5mm for a wired connection. Autonomy is declared in 25 hours. The Meizu HD60 will go on sale with the two-color Meizu 16T (Fog Silver and Tropical Orange) for $ 70.

Another new Meizu presentation is the $ 42 Meizu Sonic electric toothbrush. According to the manufacturer, this is the world's first sonic toothbrush with anti-splash technology. Externally, Meizu Sonic resembles a traditional toothbrush. Unless the power button and a pair of LED indicators to display the mode and battery charge violate the traditional design. You can use the brush on a single charge for a month, although everything here depends on the frequency and duration of cleaning. A charging station is included. The device is protected against water according to IPX X7 rating. A pair of interchangeable brush heads will cost $ 7. Brush sales start October 28th.
