The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, announced that he had isolated himself after contacting a person infected with the Coronavirus.
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said through a tweet on Twitter: “I’m fine and I didn’t have any symptoms … but I will isolate myself in the next few days, according to the protocols of the World Health Organization”.
The Director-General of the World Health Organization confirmed that he would continue to work from home.
“It is very important that we all comply with health guidelines … this is how we will break the transmission chains of Covid 19 infection, suppress the virus and protect health systems,” he added.
