China has announced that it will release equipment for the joint Russian-Indian space experiment at its manned space station.
After the Chinese space agency reported that it was gathering requests from all interested parties for the free use of its manned space station, which would be ready by 2022. Before that, the Chinese side needed to make technical and engineering preparations to ensure station readiness .
The deputy director of the Institute of Astronomy of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Mikhail Skachkov, said he did not know the purpose of this Chinese statement. However, using the Chinese station to conduct the Indo-Russian space experience will free us from launching a special space laboratory in Earth orbit.
He explained that the Russian-Indian space experiment aims to map some galaxies and groups of planets that can be formed inside a gaseous nebula.
He said the spectrometer, which will be installed at the space station, will simultaneously measure star spectra as fixed spacecraft, and galaxies as spacecraft that will allow Russian and Indian astronomers to map the various distant space objects in the universe.
