Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Abdullah Bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Governor of Sharjah and Vice-President of the Executive Council, the Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled will organize the Khorfakkan International Conference for Persons with Disabilities and Physical Education under the heading "Sports for Disabled people". And on June 30, in cooperation with the Academy of Research and Development of Sports Science Activities "Tarasa", in coordination with the Sharjah Sports Council, the International Federation of Modified Physical Activity (IFAPA), Harvard University and the University of Sharjah.
In this regard, the club held a coordination meeting, the first being chaired by Dr Abdul Razzaq Ahmed Ben Rachid, President of the Club, in the presence of his Deputy Mohamed Abdul Rahman Al Qawadhi, Ibrahim Al Naqbi, Member of the Council, Dr. Mesbah Ibrahim Jafar, Walaa Shaaban, Aisha Hanoun, Dr Mohamed Abdul Azim, General Coordinator of the Conference, on behalf of the Sharjah Sports Council, and Mohammed Al Sayed on behalf of "Drasa".
Dr. Abdul Razzaq bin Rashid welcomed the representatives of the various bodies to implement the directives of His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Governor of Sharjah, and thanked the Sharjah Sports Council, under the chairmanship of Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. Council General Issa Hilal Al-Hazami and all Council staff, for their continued contact, to support the affluents of the clubs and to avail themselves of the resources available, so that the clubs can carry out their mission.
Participants reviewed the working mechanism, forms of joint cooperation between the organizers and the conference supervisor, the names of the guests and speakers and the activities and events that accompany the conference, which will bring together a group of sports scientists and people physical education with disabilities around the world to exchange knowledge. In light of new developments, in the field of modified physical activity, and related areas, to introduce new and user, in the areas of sports and physical activities of people with disabilities.
