Huawei Announces Kirin 810 Processor Processor with 7 nm Precision Manufacturing


Huawei has announced a new version of the Kirin 810 mid-processor chips, which is the second versions of Huawei's 7-nanometer precision processor, which supports the New 5 phone this year.

The Kirin 810 processor chip has eight cores with a Mali-G52 MP6 board, which features two high-performance Cortex-A76 cores with a speed of 2.27 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 1.88 GHz.

Huawei confirms that the Kirin 810 processor is performing better than the Kirin 710 chip by 162%, while the Kirin 810 chip outperforms the Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 chip by 11% in single-core and 13% in multi-core -G52 MP6 with a performance superior to the Adreno 618 at a frame rate of 44%.

Huawei emphasizes that the Kirin 810 processor is superior to the Snapdragon 855 and the MediaTek Helio P90 in artificial intelligence technology. The chip is based on DaVinci NPU technology, which also efficiently supports the connectivity of the processor and screen controller.

Kirin 810's artificial intelligence technology adjusts the frequency on the graphics card and predicts overhead on the chip, as well as providing a faster response to the on-screen real-time touch feature.

The chip also comes with IVP and ISP technology, with an enhanced pixel processing unit and camera support to produce images with more precise details in low light.

The Kirin 810 processor will initially support the Nova 5 handset and will later launch in other versions of Huawei midrange phones later.
