Egyptian coach Hossam Al-Badri has banned controversy over the team's leadership badge during the coming camps.
Al-Badri said in comments through Sport that the team's leading badge will be the oldest player during the camps and matches.
"I am in charge of giving the captaincy of the national team. Mohammadi was the captain of Egypt in the African Cup of Nations, but he was not with us at the last or next camp," he said.
He added: "I prefer the team leader to always be on the field, Fathi hasn't been in the team for a year and here I had to think about who the leader is."
He concluded: "I argued with Mohamed Barakat on the matter, and it was agreed that the emblem will be seniority; I do not want jurisprudence in Ahmed Fathi or Mohamed Salah, the oldest of the stadium will be the leader."
