Abu Dhabi Airports has announced that Abu Dhabi International Airport has adopted the first of its kind in the world after the significant contribution to the development of the program, launched by the International Airport Council on the sidelines of the International Airport Council's International Annual Meeting in Asia and the Pacific, held in Hong Kong on 3 April.
The conference underscored the importance of the role played by Abu Dhabi International Airport and the distinction between the six airports that contributed to the development of the new program, becoming the first and only airport in the Middle East and North Africa.
The new accreditation program is part of the Airport International Airport Quality Program, which aims to contribute to airport support, apply best practices, educate employees and ensure customer satisfaction by providing a distinct level of service.
"Giving customers and travelers a comfortable experience, ensuring satisfaction with our services and being happy with all the details of their experience with us is one of the top priorities we look forward to achieving," said Brian Thompson, Executive Director of Abu Dhabi Airports .
"We are delighted to have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Airport Customer Accreditation Program, launched by the International Airport Council, and we are proud to be the first and only airport in the region.
As part of the accreditation process, each airport is committed to providing the best training programs and service certification to its employees to support them in delivering services globally.
