What exactly is an electric bicycle?
But what exactly does the term "e-bike" mean exactly? Although the generic term "e-bike" has become natural, not every two-wheeled electric vehicle is an e-bike. Quite common among cyclists are pedelecs who only support the rider when he pedals – up to a top speed of 25 km / h. This is a considerable relief, especially in gradients.
Electric bicycles, on the other hand, operate with the push of a button without the driver pedaling. Therefore, these wheels are subject to approval of six miles per hour and are rarely offered.
