Sansa Stark actress Sophie Turner revealed in an interview that her "Game of Thrones" colleague gained much more from her role in the hit series. The actress made it clear how she feels about it.
The HBO series "Game of Thrones" brought both great success. But now Sophie Turner has revealed that fellow Kit Harington, who embodies Jon Schnee, has benefited even more from his involvement – at least from a financial point of view.
"You can have money"
The actress spent eight seasons imitating Sansa Stark, Jon Snow's half-sister. In the interview "Harper's Bazaar," she explained that Kit Harington won more for her role as "King of the North", but also cited a reason to do so.
In principle, it was for a fair and equal pay for men and women, in this case, but that was "a bit difficult". Kit got more money because he had a bigger plot. "And last season, he had to do something as crazy as 70 night sessions, so many that I did not have, so I said," You know what? You can keep the money. "
How much the "Game of Thrones" stars won by episode are not officially known. According to the Daily Mail, Turner could collect about 160,000 pounds per episode, in Harington, the salary per episode totaled 537,000 pounds (about 623,000 euros).
After the end of "GoT" the wedding altar awaits
As of April 15, the long-awaited eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" in Germany will be released by Sky. However, Sophie Turner is looking forward to another happy event in 2019: she is well known for marrying her fiancé Joe Jonas this summer. However, not in a Hollywood ceremony full of stars, as Turner also said "Harper's Bazaar": "We try to keep it as solid as possible, so it remains an intimate moment." (JOM)
