The American presenter Frank Sinatra (1915-1998) once proposed to marry his ex-girlfriend Barbara with a diamond ring in a champagne glass. Now this piece of jewelry will be auctioned in New York.
According to the auction house Sotheby's, the ring could raise up to $ 1.5 million at the auction on December 4. Other pieces of jewelry from the late last year's Barbara Sinatra, whose marriage to Frank Sinatra from 1976 until his death, are offered, including bracelets, brooches and earrings.
The most expensive piece of the auction is likely to be a ring with an exceptionally pure and clear drop of blue diamond. He estimates that the auction house could raise up to $ 30 million.
