On Wednesday, a reader from Migros in Wankdorf, Bern, wanted to buy some bread for the afternoon. He was hungry, even before he paid, he wanted to bite Bürli. But then the man realized that in Bürli a large metal ring was cooked.
The search piece is likely to be a wedding ring according to the reader. "He probably belongs to a man who baked this burli." The seeker now wants to do everything he can to return the ring to the owner. "Unfortunately, neither a name nor an appointment date is recorded on the inside. It makes searching difficult.
Wanted Jowa Baker without a ring
After the reader inspected the ring in Jowa-Bürli, he also reported immediately to the producer of Jowa bakery products. "They apologized and promised to help find the owner," says the search engine.
According to Jowa spokeswoman Corinne Harder, these incidents are very rare. Wedding rings will probably be used in production, but there are strict rules: "In the hands, only a wedding ring can be worn, which is soft and without deposits," says Harder.
