Two people were arrested suspected of involvement in the bank robbery in Åtvidaberg in October last year. The two, a man and a woman, are suspected of aiding in gross robbery, the prosecutor's office said.
The suspects will be interrogated during the day. They must have been arrested in the morning by the gross criminal group of the Öst police region, with the support of the national police department, Noa, according to P4 Östergötland.
On October 26, several people stolen from theft robbed the savings bank in Åtvidaberg. They were armed with what was described as automatic weapons. The assault led to an extensive police fighter and an alarm if the escape car left for Sweden.
