Slack makes debut in New York stock race

The Slack ad service rose more than 60 percent on the New York Stock Exchange on Thursday, according to CNBC. The first closing of the stock was priced at $ 38.50 after the benchmark price was set at $ 26 per share, the Wall Street Journal writes. The gap is therefore valued at more than $ 23 billion, corresponding to approximately SEK 216 billion.

Like Spotify, Slack chose to make a direct listing, which means that there is no subscription price, but the reference price served as a kind of guide on what the stock can be traded.
