Norwegian woman died in anger – News

Norway A 20-year-old woman in Førde, Norway, died of rabies, local officials said.

The woman was bitten by a rabid infected dog during a trip to Southeast Asia two months ago, and then progressively worsened, according to a press release from the area's health department. The woman has been hospitalized since the weekend, but her life should not be saved.

Rabies is a serious viral disease that affects the central nervous system. Anger can infect from animal to human through saliva. The disease is found largely throughout the world, but in countries like Sweden and Norway, no one has been infected with rabies for a long time. Rabies is a fatal disease, unless it is given early treatment.
