Google launches new Stadia games platform

The technology will make use of Google's cloud services and the global network of server rooms to provide games to users. According to Harrison, Stadia will work on desktops and laptops, tablets and phones as well as televisions connected to Google's Chromecast media player.

Google is expected to have sold gaming applications for $ 21.5 billion, the equivalent of almost 200 billion Swedish crowns, last year, according to analyst firm Sensor Tower. The number should be related to rival Apple, which sold games apps for $ 33 billion the same year.
