A tribute to the Avicii message one year after the declaration of death

On April 20 last year, Tim Bergling left, 28 years, during a trip in Oman.

The news spread rapidly around the world, and family, friends, fans and stars celebrated and lamented the Swedish music scene.

It is now a year since Avicii's death, and in June his latest album, "Tim," was released by his friends. All profits from the album will go to the foundation that the artist's family started in his honor and that promotes work against mental illness and suicide.

On the anniversary, the family chose to publish a photo of a happy Tim Bergling, who is playing the piano, to pay homage to him.

"Spread positivity through my music and messages, and enjoy success, but not material success – Tim, 2018. Forever in our hearts, thoughts and ears," says the photo.

In just two hours, the image had already passed 700,000 times, and world-famous profiles such as Kygo, Sebastian Ingrosso and Nicky Romero commented on the hearts in the comments.

Dhani Lennevald, known for A-Teens and for writing music with Avicii, published a photo on his Instagram with the artist and several other composers.

Even Tim Bergling's former businessman, Ash Pournouri, put a photo on the day of death to honor his friend and express his absence.

"I have seen how sadness can have different expressions, but I have not yet identified mine, probably because it will always gnaw a little from my broken heart," Ash Pournouri writes on Instagram.

You must have evil? YOU CAN WAIT FOR YOU

You are related: Always take seriously suicidal thoughts or plans. Keep calm, but take action.

Speak and dare to hear. Express your concern and ask questions. Give concrete examples of why you think there is a suicide risk. Show empathy and never judge. But hold that everyone has their own responsibility for their actions.

A suicidal person must find someone in psychiatry at once. Call 112 or go to an emergency room. If possible, do not leave the person alone.

Suicide is often acts of impulse. Suicidal people are often ambivalent in the past. You can influence them. Emphasize that it is possible to get help and things will be better.

Always call 112 if the situation is acute.
