Brussels, 19 November – The European Week of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) is being launched today, targeting the backbone of the European economy. The European Commission places small and medium-sized enterprises with companies with fewer than 250 employees, less than 50 million euros in sales revenues and less than 43 million euros in assets. These companies are 99.8% in the EU.
