The Chinese do not pay rent, but want a state help #video

Chinese tenants at Maribor airport are late to pay rent for three months. On the other hand, the state is asking for more than three million euros of state aid.

In the past two months, the Chinese have not paid rent for the airport infrastructure at Edvard Rusjan Maribor Airport. When November's rent is due on November 15, the debt will be nearly 300 thousand euros, according to Planet TV.

With the administration of China's second largest airport, the Chinese have not really proved themselves, but at the same time not only require a 50-year concession from the state and allow the state space plan to expand the runway, but also grant state aid . Meanwhile, the airline alone this summer, the only regular airline has been abolished.

Finally paid in August

Before the Maribor airport failed to pay rent for Edvard Rusjan Maribor Airport, the Ministry of Infrastructure requested state aid amounting to more than 3.2 million euros.

The reason for the end of the rent payment may be the rejection of the state aid application. Finally, the rent was settled in August 2018.

The director and prosecutor did not meet the journalists

There was no director at the Maribor airport today. Lingkun Menga is not a solicitor Mark Rasp. Planet TV's questions were addressed to the e-mail address of SHS Aviation, owned by Maribor Airport.

As stated in the reply, under which Meng is signed, the non-payment of the last two monthly incomes is not a consequence of financial difficulties, but of objective circumstances with which the State is aware. And yet, the current financial exposure has caused unclear timelines in the adoption of state procedures.

If there is no enlargement, they will prepare suitcases

The investor should informally know that he will prepare boxes if the national space plan does not cover the extent of the existing landing route between 800 meters and 3,300 meters. But with these plans, the villagers do not fully agree.

"The people, not only in Miklaž but more broadly, think the same way and the same. Expansion of the airport would bring nothing good, but on the contrary, it would only mean the environmental impact and a significant deterioration in the quality of our lives," said Simona Marko, representative of the Miklavž Civil Initiative. .

They believe that Maribor airport, in its existing infrastructure, already fulfills its potential.

"If we look at this airport in an infrastructure like this one now, 600,000 passengers and 50,000 tons of cargo pass annually, which is almost the same amount as now carried out by Zagreb, Brnik and Graz," says Marko.

They want development, but they do not want the polluter.

And they think of megalomaniac plans in the neighboring airport of Maribor.

"We want the development of the airport because this indirectly benefits us indirectly also for all the inhabitants of the region, but we do not want the polluter, which would cause the devastation of the region in some way," believes Filip Tobias, president of the Aerodromski Center of ДD.
