They believe that Maribor airport, in its existing infrastructure, already fulfills its potential.
"If we look at this airport in an infrastructure like this one now, 600,000 passengers and 50,000 tons of cargo pass annually, which is almost the same amount as now carried out by Zagreb, Brnik and Graz," says Marko.
They want development, but they do not want the polluter.
And they think of megalomaniac plans in the neighboring airport of Maribor.
"We want the development of the airport because this indirectly benefits us indirectly also for all the inhabitants of the region, but we do not want the polluter, which would cause the devastation of the region in some way," believes Filip Tobias, president of the Aerodromski Center of ДD.
