Customers will once again benefit from services in the EU at home. They are becoming less and less limited.
Telekom reported how its overseas customers behaved during June and July. The use of services is constantly growing and the main reason is the ability to make calls, send SMS and date in the EU at no extra cost.
“Roaming statistics for June and July 2019 show different customer behavior compared to last season. Data traffic continues to increase, but the volume of voice and SMS services is stabilizing, ”the operator said in a press release.
Poland grew significantly
The company states that while SMS and overseas calls have grown significantly during the 2017 and 2018 seasons, growth is no longer noticeable and traffic is quite stable.
“The biggest jumper in voice traffic is Poland (12%), leaving minutes in Hungary or Italy (8-9%) and the Czech Republic. With SMS, there is again an increase in Poland (7%) and even Belgium (1%), ”Telekom said.
Telekom also provided a list of the TOP5 countries from which Slovaks called and sent most SMS. In terms of calls, Austria, the Czech Republic, Germany, Croatia and Hungary dominated the ranking. The SMS is a bit different and the unit is Czech, followed by Austria, Croatia, Germany and Hungary.
Data is still growing
However, overseas customers are increasingly spending data packages. However, the provider acknowledges that this is no more than several times higher than in 2017 and 2018. after canceling roaming surcharges.
