Firefox 65 comes with a breakthrough in data protection

Your favorite Mozilla Firefox browser is already in version 65, which is reaching users today. And this is also an important innovation in the case of user data protection.

The basic options are still similar to those offered in the previous version. But most users still choose what Firefox now calls a "standard" mode that blocks crawlers in private windows (unknowns). Consequently, it is still possible to be in "strict" mode, where all tracks are blocked.

However, in Firefox 65 there is also a completely new custom mode for even greater control. In addition to clearer settings, Firefox also makes it easy to find new options. You can now click the "i" button on the navigation bar to see exactly what the current content blocking settings are, which crawlers are currently active on the site, and get a direct link to change those settings.

For Windows users, video compression support in the form of AV1 and the adjusted task manager have also been added.
