Flu sick people should not go to work or school, the disease should lie.

Bratislava, February 27 (TASR) – In times of flu epidemic, it is advisable to avoid areas confined to high concentrations of people. In European countries, including Slovakia, influenza viruses currently dominate the influenza A viruses contained in the influenza vaccine in the 2018/2019 season. It is important to take care of regular ventilation and frequent hand washing, which significantly reduces the risk of transmission of respiratory diseases. A family member with influenza should have cutlery, dishes and glasses. "It's important to wear a tuxedo," the CEO said. In Slovakia, in the context of prevention, many schools are also proclaiming the so-called flu holidays. Principals may discontinue the education process based on the recommendation of the relevant regional public health authority when the number of absentees due to influenza illness exceeds 20% of the total number of children or students.

The current situation in the region for acute respiratory diseases, including influenza, also refers to RUVZ and health facilities which, in case of high incidence of diseases, prohibit visits to the public.

In Slovakia, local influenza epidemics persist at regional level. Although flu-like illness and flu-like illness have increased in recent weeks, it has declined in the week of February 18-24. This can also be caused by school holidays. Neighboring countries such as the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, France, are affecting the influenza epidemic across the country.
