Apple Pay is finally becoming a reality in Slovakia. Banks are technically ready to launch this service in our country, as Live.com reported. The start appears to be set for June 26 next Wednesday. On this day, Slovenská sporiteľňa, Tatra banka, mBank and J & T Banka should start providing this service.
How and where will it be possible to use Apple Pay in Slovakia? Well, there are over 45,000 contactless payment sites in our country, and the service can be used wherever you see these symbols:
When paying, simply connect your Apple device with NFC technology to this marked payment terminal and confirm your payment, for example. via ID or PIN code. However, you must first enter your credit card information on your Apple device in Google Wallet.
Apple Pay will support iPhone 6+ mobile devices (ie models 6 Plus, 6S, 6S Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 8, 8 Plus, SE, X, XS, XS Max and XR) as well as Apple Watch. With Apple Pay, you can pay in various applications or online purchases through the Safari browser through the "Apple Pay" icon.
