Aviation rescue teams helped four injured skiers on Saturday.
Three men and one girl suffered injuries while skiing in the Martinské, Jasná and Vysoké Tatry holes. ATE Zuzana Hopjaková, spokeswoman for the Helicopter Emergency Health Service (VZZS), said.
The fracture of the breast bone suffered a 43-year-old man on Saturday morning, skiing on a slope in Martin's shins. "After the rescue helicopter landed in the nearest work area, the crew assumed the patient of the mountain rescuers who gave him the primary treatment. After being taken aboard, the wounded skier was transported by air to the University Hospital of Martine, "said Hopjak.
At the base of Poprad there was also a request for help for skiers. First he took a rescue helicopter to Bright for a 13-year-old girl who suffered a fracture of the femur by a blow at a fixed obstacle. "The mountain rescuers first treated her and took him to the helicopter. The doctor supplemented with other necessary drugs and was then transported in an air-stabilized state to the Children's University Hospital in Banská Bystrica," said Hopjaková.
Another rescue flight was returning to Jasna, where he broke his 30-year ski leg in the pre-collections area in the Lukov boiler area after switching off the ski. "The doctor was injured on the deck of the helicopter by a reel. After the treatment, he was evacuated in a transport seat of the place and then transported to the hospital in Liptovsky Mikulas," he added.
Even the crew of Košice passenger planes called for help to the injured skier on the Čučoriedky ski slope in the High Tatras. In this case, it was once again the collaboration with the Mountain Rescue Service, which brought the ski 27 years after the treatment to the helicopter.
"The crew took the patient under their care and in a stabilized state with a fracture of the pre-training he rescued the rescuer to the airport in Poprad where he was delivered to a medical emergency team.He was transported to the hospital in Poprad" , the spokeswoman added.
