The word fast or fast has a special charm. We will use it wherever it attracts attention and make everything more attractive. However, it appears best in combination – accelerated metabolism and weight loss. But what is this diet to speed up metabolism?
The accelerated metabolism of the diet is nothing new. It was first published in 2013 as a science scientist at Colorado State University, Haylie Pomroy.
This year she became involved with 60-year-old American actress Angella Basset, who attributes this type of diet to the fact that she's still in shape.
What specifically means a diet that speeds up metabolism?
It is a 28-day program with high protein, high carbohydrate and high fat phases each week. The following foods are prohibited: corn, dairy products, soy, refined sugar, caffeine, alcohol, dried fruits, fruit juices, wheat (except buds) and nitrates containing processed meat. The recommended feeding is five times a day, with the first meal being consumed within 30 minutes after awakening, and then every 3-4 hours of waking. Very important is the rich hydration.
Individual stages of the diet:
Day 1 and Day 2 – a low-protein but low-fat diet rich in carbohydrates
The goal of this phase is to relieve stress, which does not lead to decreased digestion, even for overweight. You will eat many complex carbohydrates – whole grains, beans, banana fruits and pineapple. Exercise is a good cardio at this stage.
3rd and 4th day – Low-fat, high-protein, low-fat diet
This phase aims to "unlock stored fat" by omitting carbohydrates and adding more protein content along with many vegetables.
According to Haylie Pomroy, special servings of vegetables help to balance the consumption of meat, and this state of balance helps to improve the body's ability to burn fat. At this stage, there is a powerful strength exercise to help you build muscles quickly.
Day 5 to Day 7 – a diet rich in fat, low in carbohydrates and protein
The reintroduction of healthy fats into the diet should cause the metabolism to be set at high speed. At this stage, stress relief exercises are available: yoga, meditation, massage.
Will this diet really and quickly lose weight?
It's very likely. Removing forbidden food from one's diet means a great loss of calories and burden of the digestive system.
Some experts claim that cyclic repetition of the three phases may not be necessary. According to Abby Langer, Toronto nutritionists, there is no research to show that "surprise metabolism" and "let him guess what's happening" is beneficial.
