When she wore her Eponine London dress on February 5, Kate Middleton may have thought she was just putting on a green dress. Little did she know it would be dubbed "the world's angriest" by a real fan.
Kate Middleton, 37, dressed in a bright, green Eponine London outfit on February 5 when she visited Lavender Primary School in the UK as part of the Children's Mental Health Week. But the $ 2,500 dress caught attention – not just for its fashionable features – but for something completely off the left field. Shortly after she left in the dress, real observer Sairajasmin Davies tweeted about the look of Katewriting, "Someone was not happy to be brought out of the wardrobe this morning … The most revolted dress in the world #DuchessofCambridge #pocketeyes."
At first glance, you may not be able to identify, but once you've pointed it out, it's hard not to see that the buttons and the shape of Kate's pockets actually give the impression that your outfit is a bit upset about something!
We have no idea what Kate's dress might irritate, but she was focusing on the children's emotions as part of her two appointments that day. The Duchess of Cambridge – who is the patron of the children's mental health charity, Place2Be – spoke to parents, students and teachers at Lavender Primary School in Enfield, London about how they work to support the well-being of young people. According to the Kensington Palace website on Instagram, the steps of the school include taking the kids to run away for 15 minutes a day, as well as mapping the link between food and humor. Kate also visited Alperton Community School to find out how parents, students, and teachers work to build children's confidence.
Some real fans praised Kate's choice of dresses, given the occasion. One person tweeted, "It was definitely a happy vibe outfit for me that I think is today's agenda." Nothing stuffy or too formal, vibrant colors [sic] with hilarious eyes detailing in the pockets and those boooootts …. Chic and little dressed that worked well for an engagement involving many children. Another fan jumrouYes, beautiful color. [sic] and wonderful for the kids. "It looks like Kate's dress was a hit everywhere!
