Congratulations ARMYs (Photo: NBCUniversal)

BTS won the award for best fan on MTV EMA today and ARMY is celebrating worldwide for the hard-won victory.

This was after celebrities on the red carpet lyrical about how much they love the group.

Although the seven plays were not present at today's awards in Bilbao, Spain, they still made their mark by winning the award and impressed everyone by far.

And after the victory, the fans – who actually won the award, when you think about it – were in place when they took over the social media after the win.

All armies should pat themselves on the back!

The k-pop group that absolutely belongs to this year won the Shawn Mendes Award – which, we must add, a very loyal fan base on its own.

The talented boys also beat Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez and Camila Cabello, who basically won all other awards tonight.

The stars had nothing but love for them, as they talked about the BTS boy on the red carpet earlier in the evening.

Halsey said: "They are the most charming talented guys, they work so hard and the fans love them for it, because they are very dedicated."

While Terry Crews added that he was a fan of the BTS, he shouted into the microphone.

Camila Cabello added that they were "killing" her dancemoves.

Along with the stars, the ARMYs came together to shout the praises of their award on Twitter.

Another said: "CONGRATULATIONS @ BTS_twt for winning the #MTVBiggestFans award on #MTVEMA! Biggest thanks to all the ARMY fighting with us!
