Belgrade – The Serbian government has decided to establish seven companies that will deal with the construction of apartments for members of the security forces, was published in the Official Gazette.
SPV Avala of Belgrade, SPV Ibar of Kraljevo, SPV Pčinja of Vranje, SPV Tisa of Novi Sad, SPV Danube of Novi Sad, SPV Lepenica of Kragujevac and SPV Sava of Sremska Mitrovica were founded.
After completion of the project, companies will no longer work under the Law on special conditions for the realization of the apartment building project for members of the security forces, and will transfer all rights and obligations to the ministry responsible for finance. The company's bodies are: Assembly and Director – Construction Directorate of Serbia.
The function of the Assembly of the company is made by the founder, through a maximum of three authorized representatives, proposed by the ministry in charge of economic affairs.

In the first phase of the project for the construction of cheap apartments for security personnel by 2020, estimated at 64.35 million euros, a total of 1,748 apartments are to be built.
The plan is to build a total of 5,203 apartments by 2020, and the apartments would mainly target the military, police, young scientists …
The first phase of construction should start in six cities in Belgrade, Novi Sad, Nis, Vranje, Kraljevo and Kragujevac. The apartments are expected to be between 32 and 92 square meters.
The Ministry of Construction issued building permits for the construction in Vranje of 186 cheap apartments in four buildings and 190 apartments in Nis in two buildings. On May 25, the Serbian parliament adopted a lex specialis that allows the construction of apartments for members of the military, police and security services at subsidized prices, no more than 500 euros per square meter.
